It was a really simple set up as you can see by the picture. Just the crystal skull head (which is actually a vodka bottle by Crystal Skull), a backdrop which in this case is just some brown roll paper, a camera, a tripod and my off camera flash.
After that I just experimented with different angles of the flash shooting into the glass. Some from directly above, some from behind and some from the side.
I also did some hi-key shots which I will post directly after this.
